Video duration: 30 seconds A Kermodei bear is a site rarely seen, but a regional creature. They are found in the wild in the Terrace area, and are white bears. They are not polar bears, or albino, but in fact black bears which have genetic differences, making them white. They believe that about 1/10 black mom will have a white cub. The races are held at the Northwest Regional Airport, and run from May through September.
